Powell's Roofing in a quick sentence was excellent. While is price is not the lowest, it made up for it in the quality of the work, the responsiveness of Gary and his team as well as the good back and forth on issues as they came up during the project. I had a 20 year old roof with some unusual structural characteristics. We met and formulated a plan together on how to fully replace the roof in such a way that it would tackle all of the issues and keep the costs within reason. Some issues did come up related to those unusual characteristics and Gary kept me informed of any added costs as they came up. His crew also did a great job on gutters, fascia repairs as well as soffits.
Gary Powell and his team did a phenomenal job replacing the roof on our 1735 historic museum and 1900 general store. The beautiful cedar shakes were custom cut and installed individually. The work ethic of his crew was amazing. I will be recommending him to other historic sites in Union County.

i had Powell's Roofing do my roof and Gutters. all of his workers were very cooperative. they did a great job and the clean up was great. i would highly recommend Gary's company to do anyones roof. Also Gary is very reliable. When you meet with him, he explains everything in detail and he is very concerned on how his workers perform on the job. it is very important to have that concern.
We contracted Powell’s Roofing to do a new roof for us. We were looking for a complete rip off and replace. We went to 4 contractors (yes 4!) for bids. All the pricing was basically the same but he was the last to come out and the right one to pick. He was the only one who gave us an up close and full inspection of our roof, inside the attic and put a ladder up and walked around up top to check up close. He listened to concerns we had over a ridge vent being added. The shingles they recommend also had Energy Star choices available at the same pricing as other colors. The crew was very good and they completed most of the work in one day, came back the next day to finish up details and the gutter installer stayed until after 7PM to finish installing the new gutters. No surprises and the final bill was as expected. Would highly recommend Powell’s Roofing to anyone.
Came out to my house for a siding quote. Seemed extremely knowledgeable and I was excited to find out more. Never sent quote. I called a second time to ask if something was wrong. Never received a response. Very surprising considering the meeting. Unprofessional.
